Stanmore won the toss and decided to bat first. They made a steady start as they moved through the first five overs as Harrow struggled to bowl a consistent line. Harrow made a breakthrough when the first wicket went down with the score on 35. Steven Reingold stepped up the pressure on Harrow ending on a fine 68 not out as Stanmore closed on 113 for 1. This was always going to be a difficult chase and a good start was important. This didn’t happen as early wickets went down. Sahil Shah top scored with 15 as he tried to up the run rate and with Ben Bointon ending on 11 not out as Harrow fell 35 runs short with 9 wickets down.
Harefield batted first and closed on 80 for 6 from their 15 over’s with the wickets shared amongst five Harrow bowlers. Twenty extras made life difficult with a total of 15 wides bowled but it was still a gettable target. Harrow made a disastrous start with Fathe Singh going for nought and the rest of the batting just fell away as they struggled to build that match winning partnership. Vinit Mehta top scored with 13 and Daniaal Hussain reached nine as Harrow fell 33 runs short.
